Titan Email: SPF record for provider sending
The effective SPF policy may not authorize the Titan route used by the message, or duplicate records may invalidate SPF.
A provider setup symptom may look like:
SPF record for provider sending after a provider DNS change.
What this usually means
The SPF policy at the message’s envelope domain does not authorize Titan, or the domain publishes multiple SPF policies.
Fix it
- Confirm the active Titan or reseller product that sent the message and copy its current SPF requirement.
- Read the message header to find the envelope MAIL FROM domain.
- At that exact name, keep one TXT record beginning with
v=spf1. - Merge Titan’s mechanism with all other legitimate senders; do not copy a value from a different reseller product.
- Publish it, send a new message, and confirm
spf=passfor the same envelope domain and sending IP.
Common mistake
The registrar and mail provider can differ, and Titan offerings can be reseller-specific. A second SPF record creates a permanent evaluation error.
What MailFixIt can check
MailFixIt can trace public SPF and its DNS dependencies. It cannot identify the account or application that produced a message without headers.

Frequently asked questions
What does MailFixIt check for Titan Email?
It can find duplicate policies, syntax errors, failing dependencies, and visible authorization. A new message header is needed to prove the evaluated domain.
Should I replace every existing DNS record with the provider values?
No. Confirm the exact record type and owner, preserve unrelated legitimate services, and change only the provider-controlled record required for the intended mail route.
