  3. Find the single TXT record beginning with v=spf1 at that exact domain.
  4. Merge the provider-required mechanism into that one policy while preserving every other legitimate sender.
  5. Publish it, send a new test, and verify spf=pass for the intended envelope domain and sending IP.
